The resort in Oropesa del Mar, managed by Magic Hotel Group together with Grupo Fuertes, enters 2026 with the aim of continuing to consolidate its position as a benchmark for family tourism, wellbeing, leisure and events in the province of Castellón.
The new season follows a year of growth for the complex in 2025, with a year-on-year increase of close to 53% in revenue, reaching €42.6 million, and an average improvement of 9.5 points in the GRI – Global Review Index™, one of the sector’s key online reputation indicators. The international market was also one of the main drivers of the year, doubling the production recorded the previous year.
Among the main projects planned for 2026 is Magic Dinoland, a new state-of-the-art dinosaur theme park that will replace Magic Land Park. With an investment of €1.3 million, this new space will feature attractions and recreations of prehistoric creatures designed to amaze the whole family.
The park will combine adrenaline, learning and shared enjoyment, with experiences such as gyrospheres that will allow visitors to explore dinosaur habitats with a 360-degree view, as well as palaeontology areas where younger guests will be able to dig and discover remains inspired by the Jurassic world.
This new addition will be joined by other improvements across the resort, including the new giant pendulum-style water slide, already added to Magic Sports Waterpark; a large-format LED screen at Magic Splash Adventure; a new area featuring the latest-generation video games; and interactive leisure experiences with sensory floors and video mapping.
Third season with new experiences and wellness developments
Alongside its more family-focused experiences, this season Magic World will also undertake a major wellbeing project: the comprehensive refurbishment of Pontiana Thalasso Hotel, its 5-star accommodation. This project will involve an investment of close to €9 million this year and will strengthen the resort’s wellbeing offering facing the Mediterranean.
Since Grupo Fuertes and Magic Hotel Group joined the resort project, more than €50 million has been invested across two phases: an initial phase of €40 million, focused on the new themed hotels, and the current phase, aimed at continuing to introduce improvements across the complex and modernising the 5-star accommodation.
All these actions are being carried out under the Magic Planet philosophy, which guides the resort’s growth from a sustainable and responsible perspective. In 2025, Magic World’s accommodation obtained the international Bioscore certificate for the first time, reinforcing its commitment to a more conscious tourism model.
With this new stage, Magic World strengthens its role as a tourism, economic and experiential driver in Oropesa del Mar and the province of Castellón, combining wellbeing, leisure, innovation and sustainability to continue creating memorable experiences by the Mediterranean.
